The London nightclub scene has always been very strong over the years and has been one of the great attractions for why people chose to come visit London. Eccleston Square Hotel, our high tech London boutique hotel is perfectly located for people who want to sample some of the best nightclub experiences in London. Here is a list of some of top London nightclubs:
Maddox: This is an old Mayfair favorite for partygoers. It is split over two levels with tables and Dance floor downstairs and an elegant bar upstairs which is convenient for chatting with old friends, new friends and who knows…
Tonteria: Located close to Eccleston Square Hotel on Sloane Square, this venue is quite small and is Mexican themed. Tequila is delivered by Toy Train and Mexican flame throwing dancers provide for an exotic and daring feel.
Project: Located in Mayfair again, this is a much larger venue which has more of a Miami/ Ibiza feel to it. Project attracts quite a young crowd aged between 18 and 24 on the whole.
Maggies: This establishment has become an institution amongst the Chelsea crowd. The night club is a loose homage to our former PM Maggie Thatcher and has quite a strong retro British identity. The fact that Maggies is located on Fulham road is quite convenient when you consider what crowd this nightclub targets. There is quite a nostalgic feel to the music with hits being played from the 70’s and 80’s. Tables and drinks are also slightly cheaper here than normal upmarket Mayfair nightclubs.
Cirque le Soir: Opened just a few years ago, the name of the club is French for Circus of the night. This club does literally what it says on the tin. The decoration in this venue is quite sumptuous with performers that are slightly scary but entertaining from the realm of the Circus world. These include snake charmers, fire eaters and indoor funfair.
Mason House: Conveniently located close to Oxford Circus, this hip hop focused club has a dungeon feel which is typically London. This spot is ideal for hanging out with friends and dancing.
Scotch of St James: Only recently discovered by the ESH team and a new favourite spot, Scotch is a welcomed new addition to the London night club scene. This Nightclub has a 60s rock ‘n’ roll feel. It attracts quite a trendy crowd with celebrities and socialites flocking to this location which can make it quite difficult to gain access.
