It’s time to give thanks once again, and this year London isn’t leaving it to the Americans. The city is awash with special Thanksgiving menus, giving expats and enthusiasts alike the perfect excuse to stuff themselves with roast turkey, pigs in blankets, cornbread and pumpkin pie — not to mention bourbon, beer and wine.
It was a rainy Wednesday evening and I was looking for a nice restaurant to go to locally, in Pimlico. I remembered that there was this popular Asian restaurant called A.Wong. Normally it is not so easy getting a table there, but I thought why not give it a chance. When we walked into the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the hostess who offered us seats at the bar which suited us just fine.
The newly opened World’s End Market in Chelsea, originally a pretty standard has re-launched as a cool new restaurant. The menu has a particular emphasis on meat and fish, fresh ingredients served at a reasonable price (for Chelsea).
The Other Naughty Piglet has just opened a new restaurant in Victoria, only a 10 minute walk from Eccleston Square Hotel! This is the second restaurant of the group, the original Naughty Piglet is in Brixton.
