Mothers Day Ideas London

Taking place on 14th March 2021, there is no way of going about it, this year Mother’s Day has to be a little bit different…

As shops, restaurants and hotels are still closed , why not treat your mum to a future stay in London?

Eccleston Square Hotel is a perfect, intimate boutique hotel. Our team will make sure that your mother has an extra special stay. Eccleston Square Hotel is also in a prime London central location and easy walk to shopping, theatres, restaurants and major London landmarks.

In order to celebrate our re-opening, we are extending a special Summer Staycation fixed rate starting from £135 incl. VAT for stays between 1st June 2021 to 19th September 2021.

Not sure when you wish to come to London?

Thats ok, we have created a voucher page where you can buy a voucher now and book your stay at a later stage.

Here are a few suggestions of things to do with your mother on your next trip to London:

1. Take her out to a fancy restaurant:

If you are looking to splash out this Mother’s Day, London has a wide variety of fine dining restaurants, including up to 67 Michelin starred restaurants. One of our favourites is Core Restaurant by Clare Smyth. This talented Chef has opened her first Michelin Restaurant in Nottinghill and is definitely a special treat!

2. Book her a Treatment:

London has plenty of Day spas to visit. Spa Breaks offers a wide range of special Spa offers. We would recommend Dolphin Spa which is 15 minutes walk from Eccleston Square Hotel. This spa is inspired by Moroccan rituals and offer a wide range of special treatments  as well as Hammam and salt infused steam.

3. Take her shopping

London has plenty of nice places to go shopping. Why not take your mum off the beaten track and visit Elizebeth Street which offers a wide range of cute boutiques. Another great place to visit is Bicester Village which is an outdoor outlet shopping centre where you will find some fabulous discounts. There is a daily bus which leaves from Victoria Station and takes you straight to Bicester Village. Why not make a day of it!

4. Take her for afternoon tea

London is the capital of afternoon tea, you can find any themed afternoon tea of your desire. To find the best offers, we would recommend visiting afternoon tea.co.uk which provides you with plenty of choices around the capital.

5. Take her on river cruise:

What is the best way to see the capital then on the Thames River? There are plenty of daily Thames cruises to choose from. One of our favourite cruises is Bateaux London where you can also enjoy a tasty meal for lunch or dinner.
