We are so happy that spring is here! It is a great time to explore the capital along with its majestic parks.

Here are a list of my favourite parks to visit when I need a break from the hustle and bustle of London.
Battersea Park is 200 acres of green gorgeous space! Opened in 1858, situated on the edge of the River Thames, this park provides an oasis of calmness. You can also find a lake in the middle of the park, which provides a shelter for wildlife. If you like running or power walking (in my case) I would recommend doing a full circle of the park.
Battersea Park is a 10 minute’s walk from Eccleston Square Hotel, just across the River Thames
Regent’s Park is one of the Royal parks of London, there is also London Zoo located in the park. Regent’s Park was designed by John Nash and covers 395 acres. As most of you might know, Brits love their gardens, Regent’s Park is a true testament of British culture and attention to detail when it comes to gardening. In the summer, you will also be able to spectate the quintessentially sport; cricket. Towards the end of your stroll, I would recommend visiting Primrose Hill where you will find bustling coffee and ice-cream shops.
Rengent’s Park is direct on Victoria Tube Line, best stop is Warren Street
Richmond Park, was created in the 17th Century by Charles I as a deer park. It is if an important wildlife conservation park and is the largest of London’s Royal Parks. If you decide to visit Richmond Park, I would recommend renting bikes and trying to spot the deer!
